Delivering quality bulk ingredients to the food industry has been the driving force for establishing this business. Frutex target markets are industrial manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. Frutex Australia carries a broad range of bakery and food ingredients, consisting of dry vine fruit, tree fruit, prunes, figs, nuts roasted & diced, coconut, seeds (ie. sunflower kernels, sesame, poppy seed, linseed. etc). fats & oils, tomato products, canned / frozen / aseptic / concentrates - fruit - blueberries, raspberries, peach, apricot, pear. Dehydrated cranberries, blueberries, cherries, etc. Vegetables - frozen / dehydrated / canned - mushrooms, carrots, celery, corn, onion, garlic, etc. All of these products can be further processed, cleaned and delivered in batch sizes for convenience.

Established in 1968 by Peter Magiros Frutex has evolved into a leading food ingredient business. Supplying a broad spectrum of industrial manufacturers locally and internationally. Our objective is to create value for our customers through innovation, product development and continuous improvement. Our strategic vision is to be a leader in the delivery of value added food ingredients, that are of the highest quality and without compromise.

Frutex sources from facilities that are governed by our vendor assurance programs. With continuously advancing technology we are always at the forefront of these improvements. Sultanas, currants and raisins are processed in plants with BRC accreditation and through the following processes:

*Grower – processor controlled.

*Pesticides / fertilizer controlled.

*Raw material batch selected.

*Double washed, double laser scanned.

*X-rayed on line.

*Metal detection at three points.

*Visual inspection and static hand picking.

Frutex Australia sources ingredients both locally and from around the world, sourcing raw material from the origin ensures the highest quality ingredients, continuity of supply and large inventory on hand to meet the ever increasing demands of the industry.

Frutex management have been consistent over four decades, dedicated and experienced in global sourcing, buying quality raw material is a critical component of the supply chain. Our manufacturing facilities include fruit washing, blending and glyceration, infusion of dry vine fruit.
